Big Ideas, Tiny Details

At this time last year we were working on this amazing wedding. I must say it is one of the most fun weddings ever to have been part of. The bride was none other than Gemma, who is director of Planet Flowers an amazing contemporary events florist company in Edinburgh. Gemma has an amazing eye for style and details and impeccable taste and as if it wasn't enough, she has endless energy for "wedding-DIY".

The Photograper was Blue Sky Photography we love their work. The venue was Hopetoun House. Lots of other of our "wedding-friends" were involved, and the whole thing was so amazing that it was
featured on both RockMyWedding blog, RockMyWedding Part 1 and RockMyWedding Part 2 parts, and even featured in the National wedding flower magazine.Wedding Flowers Magazine

We made Gemma's bridesmaids dresses, they are both soft dresses without boning, made in chiffon Changeant, one is with a cowl neck, and the other have pleating detail on the front.
Both have a satin bias cut belt, and is made in chiffon changeant. They have little bolero Jackets of Boiled wool. Gemma's dress was one she bought at a trunk show, here is what she wrote about it on the blog post:

"When it arrived I liked it, but I wasn’t in love with it. Slightly depressed with the dress I took it to Mette at Freja Fashion who was already making my bridesmaids dresses. With in minutes of putting the dress on with Mette, she had pinned and pulled at it and took some details off and adding some details on and just like that she had turned my nightmare into a my perfect dress."

We were more than delighted to help.

Have a look at this amazing lot of details, and have an even better look at the details on the blog posts.
