Ivory chiffon and gold sequins

Angie had ideas of a wedding dress with inspiration drawn from Fearne Cottons wedding dress, However... she wanted to make it her own.

She wanted to change the neckline front and back, the sleeves, the sequins were golden instead of silk, and she went for a longer length skirt. We did a few more tweaks to make it her own personal dress.

We love the result. The dress was a circle skirt french silk chiffon, with the longer length bodice, with the wrap over detail in the little folds, the dress had little buttons and loops at the back, and a lovely hem makes the dress bounce and light.

Angie chose lovely gold pumps to wear with the dress, and a gorgeous Morocan design side tiara from Rene Walrus. The wedding was held at Novotel, Edinburgh Park. Angie's flowers were from her sister in law Susan Mcintosh at Wedding Bouquet Central in Falkirk. Susan also made the wands for the gorgeous little girls with gold sequin dresses, Angie's grand children.

The Wedding was an informal affair all about 2 families coming together.

The photographs of the Jumping the broom, is an old wedding tradition, which symbolise a new beginning and sweeping away the past... i love that..

Congratulations to Angie and Brian... it was lovely to work with you Angie... and wishing you all the best.

Spring Wedding with stunning spring sunrays, and strong colours, white chiffon and lace

Judith came to me with the one idea that she wanted to dance in her dress! and yes, she could!  she had a few other thoughts for the dress, and we together reached a lovely design perfect for her.
she went for a white beautiful pure silk french chiffon ruched bodice dress and a little guipore jacket on top.
the skirt was a full circle and which made it swish and movement to compliment Judith and James's Dance moves.
The venue, Royal Physicians Hall was beautifully set up with flowers from Fiona Cumming Floristry. The ceremony was in Judith and James's own church St Pauls & St Georges, York Place and then they all walked in the lovely spring sunshine to The Physicians Hall, the bride and groom made a little detour to the Queens Street Gardens for a photo session.
Loved the fun and brave elements such as Judith's floral wedges which peeped out under the skirt hem, and big cake table for all who attended the ceremony.
Thank you so much to Trevor Wilson of Silver Photography i am especially in love with the spring light he captured in the outdoors photo session, Thank you all for letting us share!
