Gorgeous wedding in South Queensferry

Grace came with her fiance long before her wedding to see me, Grace doesn't usually wear dresses, and was keen to get something that didn't wear her, and she could look her gorgeous sporty self in,.. and a gorgeous bride.

Once we started on the design stage her Husband to be was barred from attending, and we managed to surprise him on the day.

She went for a dress with back detail and sweetheart neckline. the embellished lace motifs were attached by hand on her bodice and back panels, and it had an internal corset and buttons and loops all the way down.

I absolutely loved working with Grace, I am so impressed with her, she has represented Scotland on several occasions in different sports, and I am so impressed with her commitment with what she puts her head to.

We also made Grace's daughter Nicole's bridesmaids dress for the wedding. We had a bit of a giggle about that, as she brought in a Christmas bauble for me to match the colour.

So delighted to show this wedding off, the venue was Orocco Pier thank you to photographer Mike Glendenning for taking such lovely shots.

Hollywood glamour in Playfair Library and George Hotel

A bride with 4 bridesmaids, Stunning venue, love of colour and amazing wedding visions.... that is a dream bride to have walking through the door. Lindsay was just such a bride.

With a vision of 50'es style Hollywood glamour and lots of colours, to give her relatives from the states a proper visual treat on their big Scotland trip for the wedding, she absolutely nailed it.

Lindsay wanted a dress in tulle with lace beading and lace embellishment, the shine of the satin and the matte tulle gave lots of textures to her dress.

The 5 bridesmaids chose 5 different colours of dresses and  we made Lindsay and all 5 of them gorgeous Fur Capes for them to wear for the pictures outside.

The venue was the Playfair Library and the The George Hotel, Edinburgh, Thank you to Ryan McGoverne took the lovely photographs and let us use them.

Perthshire Wedding with super chique dress in silk and lace

Lovely intimate wedding with only close family and friends.

Cathy's dress was made in silk satin with lace bodice, it has deep pleats. The lace overlay on the bodice is edge with a heavy scalloped, and it makes a lovely detail to the dress.

We feel so fortunate for being allowed to show it all off.

The wedding was held in Perthshire and Nigel Lumsden Photography captured the day beautifully.

Chantilly lace for relaxed barn wedding

Beautiful wedding and beautiful bride with lots of beautiful DIY details the bride had made so much preparation for this wedding in the lovely stable buildings at Wedderburn-Castle, Dunns.

We made her dress in a lovely fine Chantilly lace overlay, she had a satin dress below, with internal lace up and buttons and loops at the back.

Elaine had chosen some lovely suppliers, Rebekah McVitie did her make up and Keith Marshall Hairdressing did her hair on the day.

Willow the dog was Elaine's bridesmaid, so cute!

Elaine did her own cake table on the day, i am so impressed at that, if you would like to follow her cake baking developments please follow her blog LaineyBakes for ideas and tips.

Many many thanks to Fraser Cameron Wedding Photography, for his lovely work on the day and for letting us have some photographs to show off.

Guipure lace scroll on silk georgette silk dress

Guipure lace scrolls, on beautiful silk crepe dress, was the brief for what Julia wanted us to make for her wedding. The dress had a lot of hand work on it as we had cut out all the Guipure scrolls and shaped them, then attached them by hand to give the swirly necklines and soft edges.

The bride and groom had a beautiful day at Pollock House  with stunning floral decorations by Planet Flowers

Julia wanted flowers and decorations in soft neutral creams, soft pinks and nude shades. Julia's 2 nieces also had dresses made, they were in ivory with the coloured sashes and embellishments.

Craig and Eva Sanders Photography took some lovely photographs and we are delighted they let us share it all with you. THANK YOU all to all involved.
