Coffee coloured bridesmaids dresses with different necklines

We were delighted when Clare asked us to make her 3 bridesmaids dresses. Clare had a light summery feel to her wedding and went for Coffee coloured chiffon dresses with different necklines to suit the 3 different girls. the dresses had an empire line band which ended in a bow at the back, the bow very similar to that on Clare's wedding dress.

It was a real pleasure working with Clare and her bridesmaids, and the final look of the wedding came together so so well.

The ceremony was at St. Mary's Kirk in Haddington and the reception at Lennoxlove.

The flowers were arranged by Linden Flowers and hair was by Gail Rankin at Bespoke Wedding Hair and make up by Lucy at LG makeup.

I hope you enjoy the photographs, thank you to  Phil Nunez for letting us use them.

Pistachio green wedding dress for sophisticated city wedding

We had previously worked with Audrey, and when we heard Audrey was engaged to be married, we were so excited she asked us to make her wedding dress. We knew her wedding would be amazing and full of sophisticated touches.

Audrey went for a Pistachio green lace to sit off the shoulder and a silk crepe back satin silk skirt. We made a light internal corset and ruching on the waist, the dress had covered buttons and loops at the back.

The wedding was held in One Devonshire Gardens, and the city sophisticated dress suited the venue to a T. We love Audrey's choice of hairstyle by Gillian Copeland and lovely make up, which was done by Lindsay Cloughley Make-up

We were even more delighted when we managed to find Audrey a photographer, and Photography by Juliebee, Julie did a wonderful job, we are so pleased to show you.

Short silk wedding dress with vintage lace bolero

Clementine had already her heart set on a short dress when she came to see me. She also had some pretty spectacular Jimmy Choo's from Pam Jenkins for us to work into her wedding outfit.

She also had a piece of lovely Chantilly lace which had served as the wedding dress lace for her late auntie.

We designed Clementine a short dress in silk douppion, it had a dropped waist boned bodice with internal
lace up and ruching to the one side and sweetheart neckline. The dress had a pleated skirt in the douppion silk.

We made a little bolero with Clementines lace. The lace was beautiful and very fine. We got a guipore lace trimming to finish the edges on it. and then there was a douppion silk band which finished a big bow at the
back of her dress.

Clementine had a bespoke veil from Mairi Brunning Millinery
The handsome groom Richard, had his suit from Walker Slater
The wedding venue was the The Devonshire Arms Country House Hotel, Bolton

Stong colours for Edinburgh Castle wedding

Anneke was a lucky bride to have 5 gorgeous bridesmaids.
She had a style of dress in mind and ideas for strong clear colours. Anneke went to an amazing couture fabric shop in London and got 3 types of silk for her 5 bridesmaids.
A silk lining, a silk Georgette for the main dress, and a silk satin for the belt.
The style suited all 5 girls very well, the dresses were finished with french seams and keyhole button, concealed zip.
The wedding was held in Edinburgh Castle, Flowers by Planet Flowers and Claire Cox Wedding Photo.

Silk chiffon wedding dress with Navy accents

When Vikki contacted us to make her dress, we knew she was one of our most favorite kind of new people to hear from, as she was a good friend of a previous wonderful bride, so she already knew what we could do for her, and what we were all about.
Vikki had a few initial ideas, which we looked at and kind of made a few suggestions with different elements.
The dress really suited her. The cinched in waist, the soft floaty fabrics in contrast to the hard and structured navy really worked so very well.
The dress was made with a silk chiffon overlay and had an internal lace up and buttons and loops over. The navy belt and flower was made in douppion silk fabric.
The final result we really really like. The ceremony and reception was both held in The Glasshouse and. The flowers were from Lynne Reid.
Duke Studios took the lovely photographs and kindly let us use them for this blog.
