Wedding dress in Satin and Chantilly for Wedding in Greyfriars Kirk

Sam had ideas of a lovely wedding dress which had the deep box pleats on the skirt, the top she was a bit more unsure about, so we experimented with different options and styles.  The one thing she did know was that she would like to be fairly "covered" up.

She went for a duchesses satin dress, with a  small train and the deep box pleats. She then had a boned bodice with very pretty fine Chantilly lace over. She had a belt with embellishment on the front and internal lace-up corset and buttons and loops over.

Sam had a very personal service in Greyfriars Kirk held by Rev. Thomas Coupar a friend of Sam's, husband-to-be.

The reception took place in The Hub, Edinburgh. Sam had her Make up done by Lucy Gourlay at LG Make-up flowers and favors was done by Sharon Eveleigh  from Granny Sally's Soap Kitchen

Sam and Liam had a very personal and fun day. We so enjoyed working with Sam and her family got involved coming to the fittings.

Valentines Wedding in Oran Mor, Glasgow

Leigh had firm ideas of silhouette and style for her wedding dress when she came to visit me back in 2012. She didn't realise how many types of lace i had to chose from, the one she chose is so pretty, a fairly large pattern with the floral pattern in a very shiny viscose thread. It was a great option for a February wedding as the artificial light reflects shadows of the floral pattern on the the satin backing the lace. The colour is ivory, her dress has an internal corset and buttons and loops at the back. The fine lace gives a lovely feminine contrast to Leigh's amazingly tattooed back. Nick Kirk of NDK Wedding Photography took some lovely images of the whole wedding, I have chosen a few where the dress is lovely displayed. The venue Oran Mor is both Traditional and Modern, and seemed the perfect venue for Leigh and Keith's Wedding.

Lace and silk crepe wedding dress for Melrose Wedding

Alice wanted a simple and organic feel to her wedding and to her dress. She chose a heavy silk crepe skirt with a long length bodice with ivory lace and a champagne cord. The dress had silk
chiffon sleeves and lace scallop edges on the neckline and where the skirt and bodice joined. It
laced up internally and was fastened with a concealed zip at the back. Alice wore her
grandmother's veil which we'd chosen the lace to match; it looked lovely and really finished off
her whole outfit.

The reception took place at the stunning Harmony House and Garden, Melrose and the weather was
beautiful. Alice and her friends and family did all the decorations and flowers, some of which
were grown by friends for the wedding. The Cake and catering by Annabelle's Catering. The Photos wore taken by the photographer Lynsey Wilson. Everyone's favorite guest was a gorgeous guide dog puppy.
