Elisabeth was another bride who came all the way from London to ask us to make her a beautiful dress for her wedding. She has been adorable to work with and we achieved making her gorgeous dress with minimum fittings.
She went for a circle skirt in fine Chinese silk organza and a very fine Chantilly lace overlay on the bodice. The bodice was boned and had internal lace up and little buttons and loops at the back and a little key hole detail at the neckline.
The exquisite fine materials made for a very delicate dress to compliment Elisabeth's fine elegant frame. I love the look so much i feel so looks like a ballerina.
The wedding was held in St Columbas Free Church of Scotland and the reception in The Rivers Suite, Edinburgh Napier University the flowers was from Laura Eberst and Elisabeth's hair and make up was from Made-Up
The lovely ladies at Mirrorbox Photography have so kindly supplied us with their lovely photographs.

Guipore lace by Loch Lomond
Laura is a total super wedding planner.. she had so so many lovely ideas, some picked from Pinterest and personalised and adapted to her wedding.
She had ideas for a slim line lace dress when she came to see me.. she then fell in love with the Guipure laces and we ordered a few larger samples which Laura then chose from.
We made a satin dress with light boning and a small train, we attached the lace overlay to that, and made internal lace up and buttons and loops at the back and wide straps which created a diamond shape at the back.
Laura bought bridesmaids dresses from the high street, which we adapted for her.. we used the off cuts of her dress to make a little guipure lace insert on the V-neck line, and we gave the Bridesmaids a quick class in "how to tie a bow"
Laura had chosen 4 accent colours for shoes, bouquets and nail varnish for the bridesmaids. It looked great and was an original idea.
Laura also had the idea to have 3 little hearts stitched to the inside of her wedding dress, 1 heart was made from her dads old shirt, one from her mums old dress, and one from her grans blouse... it was a lovely and personal touch.
The wedding was held at the beautiful Lodge on Loch Lomond, Luss.
The flowers were by an amazing company called Endrick Blooms and April did a fantastic job bringing the colour scheme to life. Hair and make up was by Vanessa and Angela who were from The Aisle, Bridal Hair and Make-up.
Lauren Hewby from Dumfries Wedding Lounge took the stunning photographs and kindly let us use them.
