Beautiful Wedding at the South Lakes, with lovely soft Chantilly lace dress

Faye wanted a simple V-neck lace dress with little cap sleeves, a soft look and feel to the dress.
She had a lovely wedding in the South Lakes with amazing DIY details and she looked amazing in her Vintage make up.
Faye looked perfect in her dress, it had an internal lace up which gave her a smooth silhouette, but still gave a soft look to her dress. She chose a lovely Chantilly lace with ivory soft satin backing.
The different coloured bridesmaids dresses, looked great and gave the wedding a fun look.

Faye was such fun to work with, and we wish her all the very best with her baby due to arrive.

Thank you so much for Paul Read Photography for letting us use the stunning photograph to show off our work.

Dundas Castle Wedding

Louise has been a dear friend of mine for many years from the running and fitness scene, and i was beyond happy for her when she sported a gorgeous big ring on her finger. Louise, asked me how i thought she should celebrate her wedding, i was so happy with the choices Louise made.

We designed and made her beautiful circle skirt silk chiffon wedding dress, she had a corded lace overlay with long sleeves on the bodice, internal lace-up and tiny buttons down the back. Her bridesmaids were in dark purple chiffon dresses, Pauline, Louise's sister wore a boat neck style and Hannah, Louise's stepdaughter wore virtually the same dress but with a asymmetric single strap.

For Louise and Glenn's gorgeous Daughter Bonnie and her cousin Annie we made duchess silk satin dresses with lace edgings on neckline, sleeves and hemline, and a lilac belt with bow and sashes.

For Louise's sweet mum we made a marocain silk skirt and blouse with a guipore silk jacket over i lovely cornflower blue shades.

It was an absolute pleasure to be asked to be a guest at the wedding and i will treasure the moment of getting everyone ready in the gorgeous rooms in Dundas Castle, a mix of excitement anticipation and happy nerves.

The castle was decorated to its maximum beauty with lovely flowers, pedestals and hurricane lamps from Planet Flowers. L.G. Makeup did the lovely natural make up on the bridal party and Gail Rankin from Bespoke Wedding Hair  hair did the bridal party's hairdos. Reel Time Events supplied excellent bag piping.

The day was full of surprises, such as the grooms brother appearing from Australia and an impressive fireworks display at the end of the night.. we did ours to show the Aussies how to do the ceilidh dancing. and such a good time was had by all.

First light Wedding Photography were there all day and took the most wonderful photographs of a very wonderful and special happy day, we are so delighted to be able to share them all with you.
