Sunday at Melville Castle

An amazing cold clear day at Melville Castle with some of the best in industry with lots of ideas gave us the stunning result of these images. The Caitlin and Olivia, Models are from Colours Agency were both fab to work with. Photographer Lee Howell photographed and the flower head pieces were done by Planet Flowers, Accessories by Rene Walrus, Make-up and styling ideas were mainly a collaboration between Rosie Fraser Make Up and Lee Howell, Charlene from Princess Cut Bridal Hair worked on the hair styles, we supplied dresses as per usual.

We felt utterly spoiled to have the stunning Melville Castle to rummage around in for a full day.

Thank you so much to all involved!

Enjoy these photos for now.. you may get to see more later.

Photo Shoot at Prestonfield House

On one lovely day last year, we had the great fortune of being allowed to go to Prestonfield House and use the gorgeous location for a Photoshoot. It was a fab team. We had Becky modeling, who we love and have used before, Emma Motion as the Make-up artist, and Kirsty Stroma  did the photography. As per usual Planet Flowers wowed us with stunning floristry, and Rene Walrus provided enough sparkle for a James Bond Movie.

I hope you love the images.

Red Wedding Dress and Blue Sky

Steph contacted us with her fabulous ideas for her North Berwick Wedding, it was going to be an extravaganza of DIY projects and lots of individual ideas and designs. The stunning venue Macdonald Marine Hotel & Spa, North Berwick was going to be the stunning setting, with easy access to the beach, it was such a treat for their guests.Steph always knew she wanted a red wedding dress, we went for silk georgette with a silk satin belt detail. the dress had ruching and little bows and it all went very well with the amazing knitted wedding bouquet. It was a really fun wedding to work on, and we love the pictures taken by Julie Tinton Photography, another friend Heathers cakes made the fab cakes.

Botanist Wedding in the Lake District

Clare had firm ideas that she wanted colour on her wedding dress. When i heard she was a botanist, i was sure we would have some flowers on her dress too.
Clare decided for a guipore lace bodice, the lace was backed with a pale green taffeta. The skirt was a gored skirt with Silk Satin Chiffon overlay. Clare had a silk crepe belt with a big flower at the back and sashes from the flower.
Clare's wedding was going to be a relaxed outdoor affair. It was to be held in the garden at Low House in  The Eden Valley, Cumbria, very close to where Clare was brought up and where she used to go for walks down by the river near the house. The Tipi's in the grounds of the garden gave the wedding an absolutely lovely rustic feel with the benches and home grown flowers.
Clare was so pleased that her brother and his band Halflight played in the evening and that her lifelong friend Julia did hair and make up on the day. Clare would like to thank her parents and in particular her mum for helping organising so much of her wedding. We had the pleasure of having Clare's mum here at the fittings.
Clare and Richard's day turned out absolutely just how she wanted it.
We loved working with you Clare and wish you all the best for the future.
