Simple, Sophisticated Glasgow City Wedding

Claire was such a sweet bride to work with, came all the way from Glasgow, and was going to have her wedding in Glasgow too.
she wanted quite a simple design, so with the choice of luxurious materials the look became exquisite and exclusive and maintained her original idea of a very simple outfit.

The dress had a fitted structured silk satin bodice and a bias cut silk crepe skirt with a little train, she had a little jacket with boat neck and long sleeves in a corded lace and with a deep silk belt which tied in a big bow at the back.

Bridal bouques was Flowers from Belles Brooch Bouquets and hair and make up from, Cheryl McIver at Abercromby and Fringe, Lesley Neil Makeup Artist all made it a beautiful look.

Claire's head dress was from Glitzy Secrets and the venue was great and helped make it a perfect day.

Lovely gold silk satin and gold beaded lace bolero

What a beautiful wedding to be involved in, Alison, wanted a dress to suit her for her wedding, we suggested luxurious gold silk satin in lovely long panels. We then made her a gold beaded lace bolero to go over the top with silk buttons down the back.

The wedding was at North Esk Church, Musselburgh and the reception was held at the Grassmarket Community Project Centre. Her head dress was from Lily Luna. Lovely flowers were arranged by Flowers by Arrangements, Musselburgh.

For the evening Alison took the bolero jacket off and had a tulle belt with exquisite hand beading, crystals and silk knotting on the front and bow at the back.

It was such a pleasure working with Alison, and make her a wonderful wedding dress to suit.

Thank you so much to Conrad Ohnuki for letting us use the lovely photographs, and to the lovely bride and groom for letting us share their beautiful wedding.

Dalhousie Castle Wedding with beautiful lace wedding dress

When I first met Christine, she was planning a beautiful wedding with Harry her husband to be, at Dalhousie Castle.

She had some loose ideas for her dress, and we came up with a gorgeous lace in ivory with a champagne cord, she had buttons on the back and soft satin skirt with a godet insert at the back and a little train.

On the day, the weather was kind to the couple and they managed some lovely photographs in the beautiful grounds of the castle.

Christine chose to have flowers from Angel-a-flowers hair and make up by Lyn mckenzie makeup.   It was such a lovely wedding to be involved in and Christine was a joy to work with.

Thank you for Lovely photographs from Claire Tennant Photography.

A-Symmetric Blossom Pink Wedding dress with Scottish Heritage backdrop

Sophia came to me with ideas of a blossom pink wedding dress.
we worked on her ideas and developed them, we added a gorgeous beaded belt and beading for the shoulder strap, she had ruching on the bodice and a skirt with train.
The pale pink suited her colouring so well. And the lovely seaside tones picked out the colour very well.
We wish Sophia and Richard all the best and were so happy to be involved in their wedding. Flowers from Susan McManus from Lily West.
The venue is Orocco Pier, South Queensferry, with backdrop of the newly awarded World Heritage Site Forth Road Bridge and we thank Rod Irvine Photography for the lovely photographs.

Early Summer Wedding in Edinburgh Botanical Gardens

It was such a beautiful early spring wedding in Edinburgh Royal Botanic Gardens. Catherine, had planned such pretty details, and she had been much involved in the organisation.

Her dress was constructed in a douppion silk, strapless sweetheart neckline bodice with V-neckline Guipure lace overlay and buttons down the back. The skirt had a full circle overlay in silk organza.

It was a wonderful wedding to be involved in and Catherine was a pleasure to work with.
