Gorgous girls at the George Hotel

Suzanne has been my friend for many years, and i was delighted when she met Samantha... and over the moon when they got engaged.

Both wonderful ladies came to me with their ideas, and pretty much everyone i know, who know either Suzanne or Samantha was nagging me endlessly about what they were going to wear. It was a big responsibility being the only person who knew what they were both wearing and and to coordinate it all so it came together.. i am really proud that it did.

Both ladies looked gorgeous on the day, i was proud to be there and witness all the happiness.

Suzanne had lovely Vivienne Westwood shoes, with love hearts on, i loved those, they softened the geometric lines of her halterneck silk devore dress. Suzanne went to London to buy her silk for her dress, which she was determined should not be too bridal ;-)

Samantha came to me with inspiration from much softer and more feminine ideas than Suzanne's, she went for a circle skirt chiffon dress, with a boned bodice and chiffon overlay and a vintage style beaded belt.

Both girls had individual bouquets from Planet Flowers.

The wedding was held in the The George Hotel Edinburgh and it was such a great day.

A friend, Paddy Reilly took the lovely photographs.

Civil Partnership at Tynninghame Beach

Michelle and Jen had a gorgeous wedding at Ravensheugh Beach Log Cabins, at TynninghameRavensheugh. They hired an additional Highland Tipis to have room for all their guests.

They had made all lovely and personal arrangements for their big day, and a good friend Debs, Chef at Under The Stairs, Edinburgh was to cook on a giant BBQ for all their guests.

Jen had early on decided she wanted to wear a dress, which she got from a pre-loved website, and set off to Glasgow to buy an Ian Stuart dress,  but Michelle did not want a dress neither the traditional "suit" so she had some ideas for a much more feminine trouser look

We made Michelle a lace top over a boned sweet heart neckline bodice with buttons down the back, and some soft satin Harem trousers with buttons on the cuffs, then a big oversize organza belt ruched on the hips and tied in a big oversize bow at the back.

Jen and Michelle stayed in the Tigerlily, Edinburgh the night before and got ready there with hair and make up with assistance from Miss DixieBelle then got a VW bus from classic camper holidays to the beach on their wedding day where Piper Louise from Pipe For Scotland received them, and added some very personal touches for friends and family.

Michelle's Nephew was Best Man, Jen's Daughter and Michelle's Niece was bridesmaids, and the little Nephew was ring bearer.

It is so lovely to work with such a personal brief, and to work with celebrations with less set rules on how everything should be.. we feel they got their perfect person wedding day.. Congratulations!
