Pure white wedding dress for the Scottish Highlands

When Penny first came to see us, she had different ideas we explored, a couple of things she was really certain she of was that she wanted no glitzy accessories on the dress, and that she wanted folds in some shape or form.
She decided to go for the silk satin chiffon, the fabric is soft enough to drape and create a cowl neck effect, it is a really soft fabric, but it still has enough body that it didn't appear limp or floppy in the folds. She chose the colour to be white. Only very few girls can wear white, and Penny is one of them it suited her so well. She had an internal corset, boning and covered buttons and loops at the back.
As it would be an autumn day, she chose a fake fur wrap, and veil to match.

I really loved how the whole look came together. It looked stunning with Callum's "Anderson" kilt. The bridesmaids had blue dresses and little capes in Anderson tartan, Penny's mum had made. The wedding was full of thought through personal touches.
The couple was so lucky with the weather, and could make full use of the amazing grounds on the Glen Tanar Estate.

Wedding dress, party dress and 5 gorgeously different bridesmaids

Emma had been a guest to one of our weddings last year, she knew she wanted her dress made by us.

Emma was such fun to deal with right from the start, she wanted a slick elegant classic look for her wedding dress, then she told me she wanted a party dress as well for the evening.. then she decided to go for bridesmaids dresses well, with different necklines chosen by her 5 lovely bridesmaids.

For her Wedding dress Emma chose a soft porcelain coloured satin, it was heavily boned and corseted and ruched to one side. She chose a long plain veil for this.

For the evening she went for a satin bodice, with cups and an organza skirt with crystals, the party dress had an exposed zip.

The bridesmaids all had individual neckline, they were made in a gunmetal grey satin with light boning and concealed zips at the back. We had kept all the skirts and the empire line bands the same to keep continuity.
The hair was done by Bespoke Wedding HairRosie Fraser Make-up did all the Make-up and the entire event was held in the Best Western House Hotel by Ayr Racecourse.

Cake was by Heavenly Cakes By Andrea Flowers by Kirsties Flowers, Troon.
