Coffee colour bridesmaids dresses with ivory details

Claire's wedding was full of vintage details and she wanted her 4 bridesmaids to complete the look and be complementary to her vintage style wedding dress. She went of a soft satin in a coffee colour, a bateau neckline and ivory deep cowl necks on the back. The cowl neck was so wide they almost made a little sleeve or cape on the back. There was deep ivory belt on all the dresses. They were fully lined and had concealed zips at the back.We loved how it all looked on the day where it was held at Broxmouth Park Estate near Dunbar. The hair was done by Gail Rankin Bespoke Wedding Hair and make up was done by Rosie Fraser Make Up . Ryan White Photography captured her beautiful wedding and we are delighted we have got pictures from him to show you.

Cotswold Wedding with Vintage details

When Anna came to me she had lovely lovely ideas for her vintage style wedding for her beautiful Cotswold venue. She told me of all the things she would like to incorporate and it left indeed a bit of pressure on me to achieve pretty.
Anna chose a heavy textured Orissa silk with deep box pleats for her skirt,  for her sweetheart neckline bodice with internal lace up and corsetry. She then went for a really pretty beaded lace in ivory with embroidery in Mink colour thread. We picked up the mink colour in a silk satin for her belt on the dress and made fabric roses and sashes for the back also in the mink colour. The dress had an internal tulle bustle at the back which could come out at night time when the dress came up for dancing.
Anna had chosen some amazing suppliers, the wedding was held at the Kings Hotel, Campden her hair was by Nikki at Mode Lapstone and make up by Laura Walton MakeUp. Her accessories was a special birthday present from her family and made to match her dress, made by Claire Archibald at RedRocks.
Rachel Jones Photography offered us to use her amazing work on our blog, please enjoy!

Lucy's dress for her Wedding at Crear, Argyll

When we first met Lucy, she had a few cut outs from magazines of lovely vintage style lace, swishy skirts and amazing visions for her and Matheu's wedding at the stunning venue Crear Weddings, Kilberry, Argyll.

Lucy was very involved in the design of her dress and chose a guipore lace which was similar to the laces of a lot of the wedding dresses in the early 1970es, but we re-worked it for a much more current look. Lucy had the lace backed with douppion silk and then a silk organza skirt overlay. Internal corset, boning, silk satin ruched belt on the waist, and lovely satin buttons down the back of her dress.

With that Lucy chose a simple edged, fingertip veil.

The wedding was held in the Achahoish Church, and the reception at the Crear, Kilberry all in Argyll.
Catherine Martin at "Style Argyll" did Lucy's wedding hair, and the gorgeous flowers were arranged by Melody at Crear Flowers. The guests were entertained by music from the fabolous The Occasionals Ceilidh Band.

The lovely Photographs are kindly supplied by Archie MacFarlane.
