Double Wedding Celebrations, Edinburgh and Madrid

This bride, was one of the most adorable brides we had this year.. Cat asked us to make her wedding dress, and we were delighted to do so. Cats mum partook in the fittings via Skype on Ipad from Madrid.. it was so special.

better still the dress got 2 outings.. on in Edinburgh on the 18th of July with just family, the wedding at Catholic Church of the The Sacred Heart Edinburgh they then went to Arthur's Seat for the pictures and had the reception at Ghillie Dhu
Photographers were Edina Nagy Photography and Arual Photography.

Cat had her flowers by The White Petal Company and i was so happy that my adorable friend Maria Carmela at  Lisa V did Cat's make-up.

The wedding was then celebrated again on the 6th of September with friends and family in Madrid. The ceremony and reception was in Cat's parents house, and Edina Nagy Photography once again took lovely photographs.
Floral decorations were done by  Cat's mum and cousins and the cake were by her mums amazing company (i know, i had an amazing taster) DeliPastel.

Fine lace with soft silk satin, for an autumnal wedding in the Higlands

It was such a pleasure to work with this beautiful bride, she wanted a simple sophisticated silk wedding dress with a deep neckline and delicate lace sleeves for her Autumnal highland wedding... we made her just that.

She had beautiful flowers from Rogue Flowers which traveled from Edinburgh to Glencoe for her.

We love it all and so happy the sun shone for the bride in the late autumn.

Gorgous girls at the George Hotel

Suzanne has been my friend for many years, and i was delighted when she met Samantha... and over the moon when they got engaged.

Both wonderful ladies came to me with their ideas, and pretty much everyone i know, who know either Suzanne or Samantha was nagging me endlessly about what they were going to wear. It was a big responsibility being the only person who knew what they were both wearing and and to coordinate it all so it came together.. i am really proud that it did.

Both ladies looked gorgeous on the day, i was proud to be there and witness all the happiness.

Suzanne had lovely Vivienne Westwood shoes, with love hearts on, i loved those, they softened the geometric lines of her halterneck silk devore dress. Suzanne went to London to buy her silk for her dress, which she was determined should not be too bridal ;-)

Samantha came to me with inspiration from much softer and more feminine ideas than Suzanne's, she went for a circle skirt chiffon dress, with a boned bodice and chiffon overlay and a vintage style beaded belt.

Both girls had individual bouquets from Planet Flowers.

The wedding was held in the The George Hotel Edinburgh and it was such a great day.

A friend, Paddy Reilly took the lovely photographs.
