Victoria came to us looking for a dress to wear for her early spring wedding in Dunkeld Cathedral and later at Ballathie House Hotel. We made her a dress from a beautiful ivory corded lace with a satin backing. It had a big train and an internal bustle. We made a veil with lace trim to go with it. We also made her two younger bridesmaids dresses in royal blue satin. The photographer, Peter Keyser kindly allowed us to use his images. The beautiful cake was his wife's work Silla Keyser Cakes, the flowers were arranged by Louise Mackenzie from The Pretty Amazing Company. It was an absolute pleasure working with Victoria and her Bridesmaids and we wish them all the best for the future.

Autumn wedding in Edinburgh Botanic Garden
Hannah and Geraint got engaged in Edinburgh, and so decided to have their wedding here.
All friends and family travelled from England and Wales for the wedding which made it so special for the young couple. We were over the moon when Hannah decided that her wedding dress should also be made in Edinburgh.
Hannah has been such a fun girl to work with, she planned lots of fun details for her wedding. The wedding was in the Botanics... outside.. in October.. it was wonderful and atmospheric. (i couldn’t help myself and went for a wee peek)
Hannah looked gorgeous in her dress, it was a heavy matte silk satin skirt with deep pleats, she had a guipure lace overlay on the bodice, internal lace-up and buttons. She also had a little jacket in a mix of wool and linen.
Hannah had her flowers from Planet Flowers and Ryan White Photography took the lovely photographs.

Fun and beautiful wedding at The Hub
Joanna got engaged over Christmas, and soon after was in touch. she had ideas of what she wanted and we looked at different fabrics and cuts, beads and trims and other details. She soon settled for what she wanted.. then she went away to loose some weight. She blew me away with her determination, and she looked so so different when the wedding was much closer and we had to get started on her dress.
In the meantime we got on with her bridesmaids dresses, Joanna chose a Windsor blue shot chiffon, and the colour really suited both bridesmaids and the lovely Canongate Kirk. Joanna's mother Annie, decided for a simple silk crepe dress with corded lace coat over in a pale blue colour, she had a hat from Alex Muir, and for the evening she took the lace coat off and had an elaborate belt of chiffon, crystal beading and roses.
Joanna's dress was made in pale ivory douppion silk and had a Chantilly lace overlay on the bodice. The dress had an internal corset which was laced up and then buttons and loops over the top of that. The silk was ruched to the side on the front, and then hand beading with Aurora Borealis Swarovski crystals over the folds.
She also had a 2 tier veil with a bias binding.
The flowers were from Planet flowers. Hair was done by JD Bridal Hair.
The reception was to be held in The Hub and Callanish was playing for the Ceilidh.
It’s been an absolute joy working with everyone at this wedding, all so excited to have a fun and beautiful relaxed wedding. It was so nice for us to make all the outfits and get them to tie in together.
The lovely photographs are taken by Duke Studio's, thank you so much to them for letting me show them to you.

Bridal theme shoot at Springkell Mansion House Hotel
On one lovely day last year, we had the great fortune of being allowed to go to Springkell Mansion House Hotel and use the gorgeous location for a bridal theme shoot. It was a fab team. We had Natalia L modeling, Zan Youhuan as stylist and Ailsadoc MUA as the Make-up artist, and Duncan Holmes Photography took the lovely photographs.

3 different cut blue bridesmaids dresses
Sara's sister had her wedding dress from us a few years ago, so we were delighted to be asked to make her bridesmaids dresses for her wedding in Carberry Tower.
Sara's 3 bridesmaids were very different body shapes and colouring, so Sara decided to go for the same colour and fabric for all 3 of them, and then they chose their own styles.
We the end result was great, sometimes people just look more different when you try too hard to get them to look the same.
Shona went for a short, boned, strapless, circle skirt dress with sweetheart neckline and circle skirt.Tanya went for full length slight mermaid style inspired by a Disney princess.
Nicole went for a deep neckline and small sleeves and circle skirt with sloping hemline.
We love how each dress suited each girl.
It was a lovely autumn wedding, Hair was done by Keith Marshall Hairdressing and Make up by Lucy Gourlay - LG Make-up.
Photographs were taken by Sean Bell Photography, who kindly let us have some images to share with you.
